The Chicago Scatter Back 3 Seater Sofa is 180 cm wide, 89 cm deep and 90 cm tall, carrying two wide seat cushions, five loose scatter backs and a kidney cushion at each arm. It is the everyday size in this range — long enough to lie on, short enough for a standard UK living room wall.

Two seat cushions rather than three keep the seat line unbroken, so nobody ends up sitting on a join. They sit taut and level on a solid upholstered plinth with a single seam running the full width beneath them. The five scatter backs lean against a plain low back panel, overlapping slightly and reading soft rather than tailored, and the wide arms fall away from the back in a shallow curve, flush with the base and well below the cushion tops. A kidney cushion is a plump rectangular cushion in the same fabric, about a third the height of a scatter, resting on the seat and leaning against the arm.

Upholstered in Teddy Bouclé, a short dense bouclé-style weave, in White, Grey or Pink — fire-retardant treated and pet-friendly. Colour reads differently on every screen and in every room, so order a fabric sample and see it in your own light first.

How do I choose left-hand or right-hand?

Stand in front of the sofa and look at it. Left-hand means the chaise runs off to your left, right-hand means it runs off to your right. Symmetrical corners and U shapes have no hand to choose — both sides match.
