The Payton 2 Seater Sofa is 150 cm wide, 96 cm deep and 85 cm tall, with a 46 cm seat height and a 60 cm seat depth — deeper than the rest of the Furniture Done line-up, so you can sit back into it rather than on it. It carries two loose seat cushions and two loose full-height back cushions, and two small accent cushions come with it.

Three details identify a Payton. The arms are low and softly rolled — each arm top curves over into the outside face in one continuous sweep, and the front of the scroll is ruched into four or five horizontal pleats. Fine self-piping in the same fabric outlines every seat cushion, every back cushion and the top edge of the base rail; there is no skirt, no buttoning and no stud work anywhere. It stands on 15 cm dark-stained turned wood legs, the front pair finished with antique-brass ferrules and castors.

Upholstered in Plush Velvet, a smooth short-pile velvet, in fourteen colours. The pile catches the light, so the same panel reads a shade lighter or darker as you move around it. How do I choose left-hand or right-hand?

Stand in front of the sofa and look at it. Left-hand means the chaise runs off to your left, right-hand means it runs off to your right. Symmetrical corners and U shapes have no hand to choose — both sides match.
